Most people, and probably you, too, know that something other than what you are experiencing right now is possible. Maybe you perceive it as a subtle awareness that the life you are living is not really yours, or that the work you are doing is not what your soul came here to do.

You arrived on this planet with countless possibilities of who you could become and how deeply connected you could be with yourself, others, and the elemental forces of nature. Human beings are designed this way—to be extraordinarily creative, capable of inventing entire cultures that express their unique values and potential.

But you were born into modern culture—a culture that sees some human beings as more significant than others. A culture that uses armed conflicts as a way to settle differences. A culture that disempowers its people so they become obedient slaves, hooked on entertainment industries and capitalist fantasies.

As a coping mechanism, you have learned to numb yourself to the heartbreak of consumerism, narcissism, apathy, hierarchy, and separation. You adapted to fit in with the expectations set by your parents, religion, birth country, and school system.

If you are reading this, it worked—you survived. Maybe by shrinking yourself to appear less threatening. Maybe by being aggressive and domineering, always competing to get to the top. Regardless of your survival strategies, you have paid the price of losing access to your creativity and deep capacity for love. You have cut yourself off from your aliveness, from the reason your soul was called to be in this lifetime.

And yet part of you, deep down, has known all along that something else is possible.

Expand The Box is a revolution in consciousness, an invitation to create something completely different. In this 5-day residential you will learn experientially about who you truly are and come together with your teammates to lay the groundwork for Next Culture—the culture that emerges once modern culture has run its course.
